Our Adult Special Needs Program creates a space where individuals can learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships with animals, with others and within themselves.
OUR MISSION
At Florida Rescue Ranch, our mission is to create opportunities for connection, growth and learning through hands on experience with our sanctuary animals.
This program is designed to provide adults with specials needs a safe, welcoming environment where they can engage in purposeful activities, build confidence, and experience learning through the connection with animals.
Program Overview
Each session if thoughtfully structured to create a balance of learning, responsibility, creativity and fun through stations.
Learning Station:
Participants engage in interactive, educational experiences with the animals. From understanding how animals are cared for to our interactive chicken egg hatching curriculum, individuals get to witness life, growth and nature up close.
Barn Work Station:
Purposeful work builds confidence. Participants help with real ranch tasks like cleaning stalls, organizing spaces, and caring for the environment-becoming an important part of the sanctuary.
Craft and Creativity Station:
Creativity allows for self expression. Participants enjoy hands on crafts like decorating keepsakes, planting seeds and creating meaningful items to take home.
